Overview
* | Instantly removes chlorine, chloramines and neutralizes heavy metals |
* | Helps replace the natural slime coating fish need in times of stress |
* | Our best-selling aquarium water conditioner! |
Improves water quality: Tap water usually contains chlorine, chloramines and heavy metals harmful to fish, and its chemistry will likely vary day to day. Regular use of Stress Coat multipurpose conditioner instantly removes these elements. Add 2 tsp per 10 gallons directly to aquarium after water changes.
Fights fish stress: Every time a fish is netted or handled, its protective slime coating is disturbed, causing a loss of essential electrolytes through the skin. This leads to suppression of the immune system, resulting in increased susceptibility to disease. Stress Coat contains Aloe Vera to help repair the natural slime coating that fish need when stressed from handling, shipping, fighting, or other forms of stress.
Use Stress Coat® when setting up an aquarium, changing water, or adding fish. 16 oz treats 946 gallons. For fresh or saltwater aquariums.

When to use
When using tap water to set up a marine aquarium, when adding or handling fish, changing water or when fish are damaged by injury or disease.
Directions for use
To help repair damaged skin and fins and to replace slime coating: Using the dosing cap on bottle, add 10 ml per 10 gallons of aquarium water.
To remove chlorine, chloramines and ammonia: Add 5 ml per 10 gallons of aquarium water.
Warning
Keep out of the reach of children. For aquarium use only. Not for human consumption or for fish intended for human consumption.
Tip
Most artificial salt mixes do not remove tap water disinfectants, like chlorine and chloramines. To assure all tap water disinfectants are removed, use Stress Coat Marine when making a partial water change or when topping off the tank with fresh water.
