AlgaGen amphipods are aquacultured. They come from the family Gamaridae and were isolated from a particularly productive area in a tropical aquatic ecosystem.
Amphipods are 5 - 10 mm and are shipped in 500 ml of water per 15 Pods. To ensure peak quality, keep refrigerated until use.

Mine arrived very active, I was fearful that the trip might have been hard on them. No negative effects, they were well packaged in a foam box packed with cooling packs. Acclimation was easy I didn't even bother floating the bag. I did pour a few cups of my tank water into the bag, the salinity when they arrive is around 30pp. I found it best to suck them out of the bag with a little turkey baster and shoot them into the tank. Two hours later they were breeding like mad.
