The Biota Aquacultured Yellow Green Sinularia Coral is a gorgeous, brightly-colored variety of Finger Leather Coral also known as Sinularia Coral, Finger Leather, or Trough Coral. Though Finger Leather Corals are typically found in various shades of brown and green with white or gold polyps, the Biota Aquacultured Yellow Green Sinularia Coral demonstrates exceptional coloration, sporting a bright almost neon green coloration sure to enliven any reef aquarium landscape. Its beautiful tree-like appearance quickly softens rockwork and other hardscape while its gently swaying movement in water currents injects outstanding visual interest.

The Biota Aquacultured Yellow Green Sinularia is relatively easy to maintain in the reef aquarium and will require medium to high lighting conditions achieved by T-5s, powerful LEDs or the more intense metal halides combined with moderate to strong water movement within the aquarium. The Biota Aquacultured Yellow Green Sinularia Coral is semi-aggressive so adequate space should be provided between it and other corals in the reef aquarium.

Culturing by experienced hobbyists is often accomplished by cutting off a portion of the coral's branches and attaching that piece to live rock or placing it onto the sandy bottom of a reef aquarium.

The symbiotic algae zooxanthellae hosted within the body of the Biota Aquacultured Yellow Green Sinularia Coral satisfies the majority of its nutritional needs from the light driven process of photosynthesis. However, the Biota Aquacultured Yellow Green Sinularia Coral will benefit from additional food such as micro-plankton, baby brine shrimp, or foods designed for filter feeding invertebrates.

For continued good health, the Biota Aquacultured Yellow Green Sinularia Coral will also require the addition of iodine, strontium, and other trace elements to the water.
