The Queen Arabesque is a dwarf pleco that reaches a maximum size of four inches in length. It is one of the many members of the Loricariidae family, the suckermouth catfish. Due to the abundance of stock available in the catfish category, it has become very difficult to categorize them by species. As a result, you may see a reference to the letter "L" for the family Loricariidae, followed by a number. The Queen Arabesque is referred to as L-260.

The Queen Arabesque dwells on the bottom of the aquarium and appreciates plenty of driftwood in its environment.

Feeding the Queen Arabesque Pleco is not difficult due to the fact that it is not a picky eater. Feeding off the bottom of the tank, it gets most of its nutrition from left over food and algae. If there is no algae or left over food present, supplement with high quality flake food, sinking carnivore pellets, and freeze-dried bloodworms and tubifex.

Customer Testimonials

Betty Bailey Clarksburg , NJ
I have owned many beautiful plecos but the fairest of them all is the Queen Arabesque. Not only does she get along beautifully with all fish --- but her beautiful markings of black and white far exceed any pleco I have ever seen. She is a must have for the community tank.
