Pukani Live Rock

Pukani Live Rock is beneficial for both reef aquariums and fish-only tanks. Live rock will provide a natural food source for some fish, aid in the breakdown of waste produced by aquarium inhabitants, and create a foundation for live corals or decorations in a fish-only aquarium. Many beneficial life forms such as plants, worms, sponges, starfish, crustaceans, and mollusks will appear after several months in the aquarium.

Pukani Live Rock is easy to maintain in the aquarium, and makes an excellent candidate for the beginner to the expert aquarist. This type of rock requires moderate lighting and moderate water movement, along with the addition of calcium, strontium, iodine, and trace elements.

It is imperative to cure the rock again upon receipt, before it is placed in the display aquarium that contains fish, coral, or inverts.

Orders of large and show rock may take up to one week to fill.
