Returns Policy

All items purchased from LiveAquaria.com are made pursuant to a shipment contract, meaning that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. Shipping charges and Box fees are non-refundable.

Aquatic Life Returns

At LiveAquaria®, the health and wellbeing of all species we offer is our primary concern. Because of the complex procedures involved in properly packaging and shipping aquatic life, we cannot accept the return of any aquatic life. Please make your selections carefully. 

Aquatic Life Guarantee Claim Form

If you experience a loss within the guarantee timeframe of your purchase, please submit a claim via our Aquatic Life Guarantee Claim Form. Once the details in the claim form are reviewed, you will be issued a store credit for your loss. Store credit expires one year after date of issue. Click here to submit a claim.

Please Note: Acclimation procedures must be followed for all new arrivals in order to be covered under our 7-Day “Arrive Alive, Stay Alive®” and 30-Day Guarantees. Additional information may be requested, such as water tests, salinity tests, details about tank mates, and information about the filtration system to finalize the claim process. Claims cannot be processed if damage or death occurs to the aquatic life within the guarantee period due to predatory or aggressive behavior of tank mates. Claims will also not be processed if the aquatic life dies within the guarantee period due to jumping out of the tank.
