Cyphastrea Coral Frag - Almost WYSIWYG

Live corals are important contributors to the structure of a saltwater reef in nature as well as in reef aquariums. 

Most Cyphastrea Coral have an encrusting formation and are popular because they are hardy and fast growing. Additional interest is added because they can undergo some color shifting, displaying more vibrant colors when tank conditions are optimal. Requiring a moderate care level because they are a semi-aggressive coral, it is important that aquarists leave space between them and other corals when they are placed into an aquarium due to the fact that they will expand their sweeper tentacles well beyond their base as they grow.

For continued good health, these corals will require the addition of supplemental calcium, strontium, and other trace elements to the water, with medium to strong water flow and moderate lighting.
