Overview
The Blue Sympodium Coral Frag brings extraordinary color and charm to your reef aquarium. With its radiant blue centers and delicate jade pinnules, each compact polyp resembles a miniature flower—making this soft coral an eye-catching addition to mixed reef systems.
While reminiscent of Xenia corals in structure, the Blue Sympodium Coral differs in that it does not exhibit pulsing behavior. It forms a peaceful, slowly expanding mat that requires moderate space as it grows. Ideal for a wide range of setups, this hardy coral adapts well to varying lighting and water flow conditions.
As a photosynthetic coral, it hosts symbiotic zooxanthellae for primary nutrition, but benefits from supplemental feedings of micro-plankton or filter-feeding invertebrate food. For best results, maintain stable parameters and add iodine and trace elements to support vibrant growth and coloration.
