Hornwort leaves are dark green and grow from a 1/2 to 1-1/2 inches long on stems that can reach 24 inches in length. They may be potted or just left to float in the aquarium.

I purchased this plant about a month ago and it has taken very well to my aquarium. It is growing like wildfire and all i am using is supplemental nutrients once a week and a DIY Co2 injector. I have this planted in a 55g aquarium.

I have a 55g tank and have had hornwort for several months now. I plant some of it and the other I let float. It's a really easy plant that doesn't require strong lighting, and it will grow EXTREMELY fast. When I first purchased my plants they were about 6 inches high, and within a week had grown several inches. It's also a decent plant because my fish don't seem to nibble on it as much as they do with the leafier plants.
