All of the corals in this pack contain symbiotic algae zooxanthellae hosted within their bodies. This algae provides these corals the majority of their nutritional requirements. Addition of zooplankton is beneficial. These corals will thrive and adapt to a variety of lighting conditions, that incorporate VHO, T5, compact fluorescent bulbs or lower wattage metal halide lighting. Water flow is very important when maintaining soft corals in the home aquarium. The use of supplemental water movement devices such as power heads or additional pumps will allow these corals to flourish.
These corals are attached to a square aragonite plug and can be cut down with a pair of scissors and easily placed in holes or between the rockwork of the reef aquarium.
