The Keep It Clean Package is a formidable offense that will naturally control algae growth, while maintaining crystal clear water. Hermit crabs mow down Filamentous (hair algae), while snails wipe away film algae. Most of the crabs in this pack attack various microalgae (including cyanobacteria) that may be found in the aquarium. And scavenging shrimp in the pack keep uneaten food and other debris off the bottom of the tank.
Some of the invertebrates within this pack are opportunistic feeders, and if food is not available to them, they may turn to supplementing their diet with small fish, corals or invertebrates. If insufficient algae becomes available, supplement their diet with dried seaweed or a quality flake or pellet food.
