These German-engineered aquarium water pumps deliver silent, reliable, energy-efficient performance in freshwater OR marine aquariums.

Eheim CompactON Water Pumps feature a compact design for easy installation and a comfortable fit in most aquarium setups. Designed to help you truly enjoy your aquarium, these petite pumps work silently (2100 and 3000 models even feature a ceramic bearing). Eheim CompactON Water Pumps models 2100-5000 can also be modified for use outside of aquarium water.

Eheim CompactON Water Pumps come in 5 sizes and provide flow rates from 45 to 793 gallons per hour. For even more flexibility, the flow rate is adjustable for all models. Each pump includes mounting suction cups, related accessories such as a suction basket and threaded coupling, and a 3-year manufacturer warranty.

Please note: The pump must never run dry.

Connecting the hose ( 600)
  1. Plug the connecting piece a onto the pump.
  2. Connect your hose to the connecting piece
Connecting the hose (1000)
  1. Use a saw to shorten the connecting piece to fit the diameter of your hose.
  2. Screw the connecting piece onto the pump.
  3. Connect your hose to the connecting piece.
Hint: Moisten the hose with water for easier installation.

Install suction devices

  1. Screw the suction devices into the openings of the body of the engine.
Hint: Moisten the suction devices with water for easier installation.

Install suction basket

  1. Fold the pump cover up and away from the body of the engine.
  2. Turn the power controller c to position min.
  3. Using a screwdriver, carefully push the power controller out of the pump cover from behind. Be sure that the connecting piece is installed horizontally.
  4. Push the connecting piece into the pump cover until it locks into place.
  5. Plug the filter onto the connecting piece.
  6. You can re-install the power controller in reverse order.

During the installation of the power controller, pay attention to the installation direction. The power controller can only be installed in the min position.

Switching the pump on/off
  1. Attach the device below water level at the bottom or the inside of your aquarium. Pay attention to the maximum pond depth (see Technical data).
  2. Insert the mains plug in the mains socket. Attention: The pump starts immediately!
  3. To turn it off, remove the mains plug from the mains socket.

Controlling the flow rate
Turn the power controller or the suction basket to adjust the water flow rate.

Cleaning the pump
  1. Remove the pump from the aquarium.
  2. Fold the pump cover up and away from the body of the engine.
  3. Pull the impeller f out of the engine body.
  4. Clean all components under running water.
  5. Install the pump again in reverse order.
