Overview

The ORA® Aquacultured Stardust Chalice Coral boasts gorgeous hues of pink, purple, and blue. A beautiful addition of visual interest for any home aquarium. The Stardust Chalice Coral will readily adapt to different lighting conditions achieved by T-5's, powerful LEDs, or the more intense metal halides. As with other Chalice Coral, it does prefer horizontal placement in areas of low to moderate light and medium water flow.

The ORA® Aquacultured Stardust Chalice Coral is a slow-growing coral that may exhibit both an encrusting habit when placed near aquarium glass, as well as a plating habit when housed in open areas.

Although it is not necessary to feed the Stardust Chalice Coral, it will benefit from small pieces of meaty marine food, such as baby brine shrimp, CYCLOP-EEZE®, or foods designed for filter feeding invertebrates. Supplements such as calcium, strontium, iodine, magnesium, and trace elements added to the aquarium water are essential for the continued good health of this coral.
