Overview
The Sunrise Dottyback, also known as the Sunrise Pseudochromis or Blue Flavivertex Dottyback, is primarily blue with yellow highlights at the fins and eyes. A very curious fish with a distinctive personality, these hardy fish will provide years of enjoyment for the novice or seasoned saltwater enthusiast.
A 30 gallon or larger aquarium with numerous hiding places provides a good environment. It will prey on pests such as small mantis shrimp, and bristleworms, making this fish ideal for the reef aquarium. If more than one Pseudochromis will be maintained together in the same tank, it is important to add them at the same time.
Captive-bred Pseudochromis are very hardy and durable fish making them a perfect addition for the novice or seasoned aquarist.
The diet should consist of brine shrimp and prepared frozen foods.
