The Stan Skinger tropical, day-blooming lily is a cross of Nymphaea 'Sulfurea' and Nymphaea 'stan skinger' lilies. The deep yellow, stellate blooms open later in the day, and therefore, stay open later into the evening. Most will bloom all season long. New leaves are ovate in shape and are bronze with purple blotches. They will turn olive-green as they age and can reach up to 18" with a spread of 4-5 feet.
Recommended to be in 6-18" of water in a 2-gallon or larger container. Excellent for beginners to grow as it adapts well to different sized pools and will tolerate some shade. Ideal for tubs and kettles. Zones 9-11. Approximate Purchase Size: 8" to 16" |
