The Virginia water lily is a free-blooming hardy water lily. This lily bares fragrant, cup to star-shaped flowers, with soft yellow inner petals and white outer petals. This gives it a cream to ivory appearance. It is a cross between Nymphaea 'Sulfurea Grandiflor' and Nymphaea 'Gladstonian' lilies.
A very dependable bloomer for any size pond, Virginia has a flexible stem. This lily is a good grower and also winters well. The blooms measure from 7 to 8", with leaves that are 10" x 8-1/2" and a spread of 4-5 ft. Zones 4-11. Approximate Purchase Size: 8" to 16" |
