The Nano Mushroom Pack is an assortment of mushroom corals that are well suited for a small reef aquarium, such as the
Nano Cube. By incorporating multiple Nano packs along with our
Drs. Foster & Smith Select Nano Live Rock, you can create a diverse reef setting in a small aquarium.
The ideal set up for this pack is an aquarium of at least 8 gallons with plenty of live rock for added filtration. All of the mushrooms within this pack will thrive under power compact or multiple standard fluorescent lights. The water movement provided by the main filtration is all that is needed for these corals, as they do not require high water flow.
All of the mushrooms included are photosynthetic and do not require supplemental feeding. Depending on the individual species, the corals may be fed zooplankton, brine and mysis shrimp. Be sure to monitor the nutrient levels within the small aquarium if you do decide to supplement the diet of the corals.
Each pack consists of a mix of different species of mushrooms. Depending on availability, we will include as many different species of mushrooms as possible. When ordering more than 1 pack, we will provide a variety of mushrooms to help you in creating a diverse nano reef aquarium.
It ships as seven individual mushrooms attached to multiple small rocks or gravel. Of the seven mushrooms in each pack, we will include one Orange or Blue Ricordea florida.
When mushrooms are shipped, it is perfectly normal for them to be deflated and very small upon arrival. Once adjusted to the aquarium conditions, they will open fully making a great addition to the nano aquarium. This normally takes several days to a week before these frags are fully adjusted.
