Overview
The Pygmy Angelfish is also called the Cherubfish, Cherub Angelfish, or Atlantic Pygmy Angelfish. It is a brilliant sapphire-blue with orange highlights to the face.
The Pygmy Angelfish requires a 55 gallon or larger tank with numerous hiding places and live rock for grazing on microalgae. It may nip at large-polyped stony corals and clam mantles.
The Pygmy Angelfish is an aggressive little angelfish, so it is best to never have more than one male per tank, since they may fight to the death. A breeding pair may be kept, and the Pygmy Angelfish has been bred in an aquarium with success.
The diet of the Pygmy Angelfish should include Spirulina, marine algae, high-quality angelfish preparations, mysis or frozen shrimp, and other meaty items. Feed three times daily.

Nice, colorful little fish and they stay nice and small. After reading about all the dwarf angels, I chose this one as my first because of durability, price, and full-grown size. While he takes about 2-3 days to get accustomed to any new fish additions, he soon leaves them alone (and pays no attention to any of the small gobies I have, which really was my only worry). He was the perfect addition to my peaceful 30-gallon aquarium, although he needs a lot of hiding places.

We have found this fish to be a good addition to our reef tank. He loves to swim through the live rock and gets along with all the other fish. He even stands up for himself when other fish get aggressive. Very attractive little fish.

One of my favorite Dwarf Angelfish. I feed mine brine shrimp but you will also want a lot of algae because they graze on it like crazy.

I got two in different orders, one small and medium but both are the same size. Mine lives in a 180 gallon tank with rocks, corals, clams and anemone but it's such a big tank for them they don't even bother or nip anything. Always had bad luck with dwarf angels wasting away. Live aquaria's dwarf angels are eating and healthy for me. Thanks for the quality!
