The Drs. Foster & Smith Certified Limited Edition Five Frag Pack contains our pick of "DFS" frags seen previously only in the Aquacultured Corals Section of Diver's Den® (WYSIWYG). This package is ideal for the avid collector of rare Acro frags, and will add a dramatic splash of color to any reef aquarium.
The ideal conditions for these SPS frags are an established reef aquarium with intense metal halide lamps. To maximize their growth rate, it is important to maintain a high pH and stable alkalinity and calcium levels. Phosphate and nitrate levels must be as close to zero as possible. Along with good lighting and water quality, these Acropora corals prefer strong, intermittent water flow within the aquarium. This is best accomplished with a wavemaker and multiple powerheads. SPS corals receive a majority of their nutritional requirements through photosynthesis, but will benefit from the addition of various types of zooplankton.
