The Algae Attack Packs are designed to establish a natural means of controlling algal growth and to help keep marine aquariums crystal clear. The number of cleaners in each package is based on our years of experience to provide enough cleaning power for the size of aquarium that you are caring for.
The Algae Attack Replenisher Pack provides an excellent means of algae control in a small marine aquarium. Whether you are starting a new aquarium or bringing the snail population back up to par in your existing tank, the Replenisher Pack is a great choice. With several different species of algae eating snails, along with an algae eating nudibranch for hair algae, and an Emerald Crab to control bubble algae, these workhorses will devour any form of algae in the aquarium. We have also added the detritus cleaning and sand stirring benefits of the Super Tongan Nassarius Snails to the package in order to round out the cleaning ability of the pack.
Some of the invertebrates within this pack are opportunistic feeders, and if food is not available to them, they may turn to supplementing their diet with small fish, corals, or invertebrates. If sufficient algae is not available, supplement their diet with dried seaweed or a quality flake or pellet food.
